As soon as the days get shorter again and you need a cozy, warm sweater, we can definitely convince you with the Pamela sewing pattern. The wide, loose shape doesn't restrict you anywhere, but has a good fit thanks to a bust dart. But the ultimate detail is the large and wide turtleneck, which you can fold up or simply let fall together. This creates a nice neckline that also leaves enough space to put on comfortably. Length at center back = 62-68 cm.
The casual Pamela turtleneck sweater from this pattern was sewn from sweat fabric.

Cutting:
Cut the pattern pieces out of fabric and transfer the clips from the pattern. In addition to the description, the colorful brackets in the pictures show you where a seam needs to be sewn.
You need:
- 1x front part in the break
- 1x back part in the break
- 1x sleeve opposite
- 1x front collar in break
- 1x rear collar in break
- 1 piece of shaping ribbon (here velvet ribbon)
Sewing instructions
Place the front piece right sides together on the back piece and close both the shoulder and side seams.
Halve one sleeve right sides together and close the arm seam. Repeat this for the other sleeve.
Using the clips, place the matching sleeve into the sweater, right sides together, and close the sleeve all the way around. Repeat on the other side.
Overcast the hem of both the sleeve and the sweater all around and press the hem inwards by 3cm. Stitch the hems tight.
Place the two collar pieces right sides together and close the side seams.
Turn the collar right side out and fold it in half so that the seams you just closed disappear inside. Put the collar over the sweater so that its shoulder seams meet the side seams of the collar (marked here with staples) and all three open edges of the fabric are on top of each other.
Sew all three layers of fabric together.
A shaping band is sewn onto the back collar to stabilize the sweater. Sew the forming tape to the back collar seam within the seam allowance.
To do this, fold one open side inwards by 1cm and begin to stitch the band from the shoulder seam to just before the other shoulder seam. Here too, fold the open edge inwards by 1cm and lock the seam well at the end.
This is what it looks like when sewn on.
Congratulations, your Pamela sweater is ready!
