Wide, airy trousers are ideal for the warm season, which is why we have developed a stylish culotte as a pattern for you. These pants show a whole new silhouette, very unusual after all the tight skinny pants, but after all, fashion thrives on new styles. We too had brief reservations, but now the culotte is an integral part of our summer wardrobe. With the details on the waistband, such as the double stand-up waistband, which stands up like a ruffle in the back, or the tie on the left front part, with which you can also adjust the waist size, you will definitely feel comfortable. The length of the inseam is: 57-53 cm.
The wide-cut pants Odette were sewn from a polyester satin.

Required material:
We recommend flowing fabrics such as viscose, silk or polyester satin
- Sizes 34-40: outer fabric 1.90m (140cm wide)
- Sizes 42-50: outer fabric 2.10m (140cm wide)
- Sizes 34-40: elastic band 0.40m (3.5 cm wide)
- Sizes 42-50: elastic band 0.55m (3.5 cm wide)

Cut the pattern pieces out of fabric and transfer the notches from the pattern. In addition to the description, the colorful brackets in the pictures show you where a seam needs to be sewn.
- 1x front trousers in opposite directions

sewing instructions
Transfer the markings for the pleats to your front pant pieces. Start with the left needle and place it on top of the next one, creating a crease on the inside. Place the fold in the direction indicated by the pattern and pin securely. Repeat for the other folds.
You are welcome to topstitch the folds inside the seam allowance. Transfer the pocket markings to all four pants pieces.
Place one pocket piece on each pant piece right sides together and close the seam by leaving out 1cm at the top and bottom. Lock the seam. Sew the two front pants and the two back pants together at the crotch seam, right sides together (red staples).
Then place the front trousers right sides together on the back trousers and close the side seam by sewing from the waistband to the beginning of the seam of the pocket, then around the pocket bag and the remaining side seam up to the hem. For fraying fabrics, we recommend finishing the seams with an overlock.
After the side seams, sew the inner leg seam from the hem of one leg over the crotch (seam allowances point in opposite directions, blue bracket) to the other hem. Finish the two leg ends.
Then fold the hem twice inwards by 1 cm each and stitch it tight. The leg hems are finished.
Now it's the turn of the ties. Lay them in half, right sides together, and sew the long edge and one of the two side seams. Turn them through the open side seam and iron them flat. Pin each front waistband piece to a back waistband piece, right sides together, and close the side seams.
On the second, insert the left binding tape into what will later be the left side seam, so that it is sewn on. Fold the upper waistband part in half lengthwise, right sides together, and close the side seam.
The upper waistband is now placed right sides together between the two lower waistband parts. His seam meets the center back of the lower waistband parts. Sew all four layers of fabric around the top edge. Make sure that you do not sew in the left binding tape in any other way.
Turn the entire waistband to the right side and stitch the just closed seam tightly so that the upper waistband "stands" like a ruffled head. Here you can see the left side seam with the tie.
Pin the entire waistband to the top edge of your pants, right sides together, so that the side seams as well as the center back and center front meet. Leave an opening about 5cm wide at this seam. Use a safety pin to thread your rubber band through these.
Sew the two ends of the ribbon together securely. Make sure it's not twisted inside. Fold the open edge of the front tie band inwards by 1cm...
... and topstitch this in the middle of the front center of the lower waistband. Congratulations, your Odette pants are complete!
