It often happens that the necklines or armholes expand when ironing and sewing. Here's a solution that's both simple and ingenious. We're talking about the simple form band. It is an interlining strip that is cut diagonally and can therefore adapt to any curve, but with its central chain stitch it prevents stretching when ironing or sewing.
