Nähanleitung Blusenshirt Felice

Sewing instructions blouse shirt Felice

The Felice shirt is a " fast sewing " part, as it consists of only four pattern parts. With oversized sleeves and Reglan seams, the blouse shirt is nice and casual. The yoke with pleats in the back provides a nice detail to the otherwise simple top. The top has a long cut and can therefore be worn loosely over tight trousers.

Length at center back = 70-74 cm

In these instructions, Felice was sewn from a viscose chiffon.

Required material:

We recommend a flowy silk fabric or a polyester chiffon.

Sizes 34-42

  • Outer fabric 1.65m (140cm wide)

Sizes 44-50

  • Outer fabric 1.75m (140cm wide)

cutting:

Cut out the pattern pieces from your outer fabric. Lay the fabric right side up. Lay the selvedges parallel to the center so that you can fold the front, back, yoke at the back and front in a fold. The pattern pieces should all be face up. Always align the grain arrow on all pieces in the same direction and parallel to the selvedge of the fabric. Transfer all the notches from the pattern through a 3mm long incision with scissors or chalk. Pinch the seam allowance in the fold of the fabric because this is always a center. Markings define positions of dart ends, pocket positions, etc. Transfer these either with chalk or pins.

You need from fabric:

  • 1x back part in break
  • 1x front part in break
  • 1x yoke front and back in break
  • 1x neckline stripe in the slanted grainline

Sewing instructions:

You will need a sewing machine to sew this shirt.

In addition to the description, the colorful lines in the pictures show you where a seam needs to be sewn or something to be glued.

When sewing, pay attention to the seam allowance included in the pattern. Seam allowances that are not specially marked are 1 cm wide!

Happy sewing!

Start your shirt by processing the pleats in the back. Orientate yourself on the pattern for the direction and spacing of the folds.

Here you can see a detailed view of the laid folds.

Next you sew the yoke on the front and back part. Here I show you how the pattern pieces belong together.

Sew the yoke to the back piece, right sides together, neaten the seam allowances and press the seam allowances up.

Sew the front piece to the yoke with right sides together, neaten the seam allowances and press the seam allowances up.

Now place the front and back pieces right sides together and close the side seams. Neat the seam allowances together and press them to the back.

Iron the sleeve hem in and around 2x 1cm and stitch through the edge.

Process both sleeves.

Also iron the hem of your shirt 2x 1cm in and around and stitch it tight at the edge.

Now take the neckline strip that has been ironed in the fold and close it right sides together to form a round.

Stitch an auxiliary seam the width of a quilting foot on the seam allowances so that the tape, which has been cut at an angle, does not stretch any further.

Lay the neck strip right sides together at the neck and stitch both in place. Overcast the seam allowances and iron them down.

Stitch the neck strip close to the edge on the seam allowances.
