Slip into our pattern Shirt Mia and immediately feel comfortable. The large neckline and dropped shoulders flatter every figure. We love the mix of materials, especially jersey with silk or jersey with polyester satin. The latter can be washed without any problems, so it's an uncomplicated top that you'll be happy to wear every day. We recommend soft flowing jersey and polyester or silk for patching.
In this example, the Mia shirt was sewn from jersey fabric (cotton with elastane content) and an elastic lace.

The front yoke is made of two fabrics (jersey and lace). They are referred to as one fabric throughout the pattern because they are sewn together as one unit. Cut the pattern pieces out of fabric and transfer the notches from the pattern. In addition to the description, the colorful brackets in the pictures show you where a seam needs to be sewn.

Sew the front yoke to the lower front piece with right sides together.
You can then topstitch the seam from the right.
Then place your front piece on the back piece, right sides facing, and close both the shoulder and side seams. First iron the three strips in half lengthwise, wrong sides together (blue brackets). Then place the side edges right sides together and close the side seams (purple staples).
Fold the strip for the armhole and the neckline in half so that the right sides are on the outside and the seam you just closed disappears on the inside. Tuck the strip with its right side into the armhole (on its left side) and at the neckline. The seam of the strip meets the side seam of the shirt (red clip on red) and the seam of the neck strip meets the seam of the left shoulder seam). Sew the strips all around. Lay the seam outwards...
... and fold the underwire edge of the strip over it to the right side of the shirt. Pin this well.
Sew the strip close to the edge. Repeat on the other side and at the neckline.
Fold the hem of the shirt in twice by 2cm and sew it in place. Congratulations, your shirt Mia is finished!
