Cutting preparation:

In order to be able to draw the dividing seams in Lotta's pattern, it must first be mirrored in order to obtain a complete pattern piece.
Now you can draw the dividing seams on the pattern. A quick tip: To achieve smooth transitions/seam edges, make sure that the sections, such as the shoulder or side seam, are separated at the same points on the front and back.
Then cut the pattern pieces apart along the marked seam.
Around the To sew the cut pieces back together, the seam allowance must be drawn along the dividing seams.
To do this, a piece of paper can be placed under the cut and fixed in place to mark the seam allowance.
In this case, the seam allowance depends on the stitch width of your overlock or, if applicable, the zigzag stitch.
The sleeves are also provided with dividing seams and the corresponding seam allowances.
Cutting:
Seam allowances are included - 1cm wide or as marked!
Cut the pattern pieces from your fabric. Place the selvedges parallel to the center so you can place the front and back pieces on the fold. All pattern pieces should be placed with the lettering facing up. Always align the grain arrow on all pieces in the same direction and parallel to the selvedge of the fabric. Transfer all notches from the pattern by making a 3mm snip with scissors. Clip the seam allowance along the fold, as this is always the center.
Sewing instructions:

After cutting, you can immediately start sewing the dividing seams with the overlock or zigzag stitch.
It is important to ensure that the seams are placed wrong sides together, as the seam edges should be visible as a design element on the right side of the fabric.
Next, close the side and shoulder seams. Here, you can decide whether you want to show the seam allowance or not, depending on your personal preference.

The turtleneck is pinned, wrong sides together, to the neck hole and sewn on.
Now we come to the final steps: the sleeve dividing seams and the sleeve side seams must be closed.
