I sewed the Atlanta jacket from a metallic purple quilted fabric.

It sits and fits like a glove. I had to make a few alterations because I sewed it from a quilted fabric.

I love it and will sew another one out of quilted fabric.

versatile pattern

I've just finished my Atlanta rain jacket made of coated cotton. I like the pattern so much because it's simple enough not to overwhelm ambitious beginners, while at the same time leaving room for more advanced sewists to come up with creative ideas such as zip pockets, piping, finishing with facings and bias binding, etc. As always, the body measurement and finished measurement chart is reliable and the fit is great.
